This month, our litigation department settled a rear-end accident case in Stafford County, Virginia for $75,000. The accident occurred on I-95 while it was snowing. Our client was driving very slowly, about 20-25 mph, with her hazards on. The Defendant was driving very fast and hit our client from behind, causing significant injuries to our client’s neck, back, shoulders, and fingers. Doctors did not require surgery, however, lengthy chiropractic treatment and physical therapy were necessary. With close to $20,000.00 in medical expenses and nearly $2,500.00 in lost wages for our client, this was a very favorable settlement for our client.
