John "Blake" Drewry is a Virginia trial lawyer who has dedicated his career to criminal defense. Before joining Portner and Shure, Blake was a senior assistant public defender with the Chesterfield County Public Defender's Office. Practicing since 2018, he has represented over 1,000 clients in Virginia and North Carolina.
Blake is a native of Southampton County, Virginia, a home which instilled a love for the outdoors. When he's not in the courtroom, he enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, and cooking.
