Lupe Miranda has been a valuable member of the Portner & Shure family for several years. Starting as a receptionist, Lupe showed great potential and dedication and was promoted to legal assistant and then paralegal.
Born in Mexico, Lupe moved to the United States at the age of 12 without knowing any English. As a result, Lupe understands what it's like to have a language barrier, which is why she is understanding and helpful to our Spanish-speaking clients. She has proven to be a good asset to our firm and our clients.
In 2016, Lupe assisted one of our paralegals, Norma Guevara. During that time, Norma became a member of the Firm’s “Million Dollar Plus Paralegal Forum” and received the “2016 Client Choice Award for Exceptional Service” in the Maryland and Virginia Spanish Communities. Our paralegals work in a team environment, and they are often only as good as their assistant. As a result of the success of the Norma/Lupe team, Norma was promoted and Lupe is now a paralegal in Columbia.
