Alva started working with us a year ago, she was born and raised in Maryland. She was raised by her mother who would take her to Sunday school every weekend. Church services were held from Friday to Sunday at an all-Spanish-speaking service. Fun fact, she became bilingual due to Sunday school and reading the bible in Spanish. Alva is currently a legal assistant to Norma, who is one of Portner & Shure's top paralegals. She understands the importance of communication within the Latino community. Always aiming to keep the 5-star recognition rising, she makes sure there is a bond between the clients and the firm.
In addition, she has a son at the age of 5 whom she loves creating memories with. She loves the beach, roller coasters, and the funnel cakes on the boardwalk. Given the opportunity to work at the firm, Alva aims to keep growing within.
