This past Saturday, a 28-year-old man from Pasadena, Maryland was killed in Glen Burnie after he crashed his motorcycle. The rider was on his 2007 Honda CBR sports bike when he smashed his motorcycle into a Jeep Grand Cherokee in front of him on northbound I-97 by Dorsey Road.
The police have reported that the motorcyclist was speeding at a very high rate and weaving in and out of all lanes of traffic. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike at the moment of impact. At the time of the accident, the rider was wearing only a tee shirt, shorts, and sneakers. While the rider was wearing a helmet, it had not been properly strapped and secured.
Be sure to wear proper safety gear while riding your motorcycles this summer, even if the weather is getting warmer. It is not worth risking your life. As always, remember to slow down and stay safe.
