At any given time, Portner & Shure, is working on over one thousand active cases.  Each case is inputted into a sophisticated case management computer system customized just for automobile accident cases.  All information shared between the insurance company and the firm, or clients and the firm, can be reviewed with a mere click of a button.  The system automatically indicates when calls must be made to the insurance company, medical providers and clients.  With this type of system, oversight is simple and regular client contact is ensured.

We also regularly review offers made to our clients in each case.  The firm is well aware of the fact that litigation is sometimes necessary to obtain fair settlements, and to ensure the insurance carriers know that we are a firm that litigates.  Currently, insurance companies, as a matter of practice, give lower offers to firms that won’t litigate cases.  We are not one of those firms.  In fact, Jon Portner’s background is in litigation.  He has tried hundreds of cases, and currently still supervises the firm’s litigation department.
